Resident meets great grandson at Morpeth care homeJohn Pratt, a Resident at HC-One’s Foxton Court care home in Morpeth enjoyed an emotional reunion with his granddaughter, Rebecca and finally got to meet his six-month-old great grandson, Arthur.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, John had been unable to meet his great grandson, named Arthur John, after John, and his father, Arthur. John had relied on family members sending him lots of lovely photographs of Arthur but it was a great day when he was able to see him in person.

It was a highly anticipated visit for John, who was delighted to see his granddaughter again and her baby boy. John commented that he was gobsmacked to finally meet Arthur, he also said that he is lovely little lad and Rebecca is lovely with him.

Foxton Court Home Manager, Joanne Bulford said: “I am so pleased that John was finally able to meet Arthur, COVID-19 has stopped so many special memories being made over the last year which makes moments like this one even more heart-warming.”
