This month Residents at
Grey Ferrers, a residential, nursing and memory care home in Braunstone, redecorated their garden area.
The home bought stones which the Residents decorated, painted, and varnished with designs of their own choice. One Resident said: “It is so lovely. My favourite part was putting them in the garden for all to see.”
Becoming a talking point around the home, many Residents have enjoyed creating their own stone and showing their families when they come to visit.
One Colleague at Grey Ferrers Care Home said: “This was such a wonderful project that both staff and Residents enjoyed. Many of our staff really loved helping out and painting the stones with Residents.”
