Residents celebrated Burns Night with Scottish food and whisky at HC-One’s Callands care home in Cheshire.
40 Residents took part as they swapped stories about their trips and families in Scotland, all while enjoying a dram of whisky.
Willing Residents taste tested haggis, neeps and tatties as they listened to the sound of bagpipes.
One Resident commented: “I liked the music and enjoyed trying haggis for the first time.”
With plenty of Scottish flags, photos and bunting all around, Callands certainly looked the part as Residents reminisced and laughed over family memories.
Callands Home Manager, Lesley Nosworthy, said: “It was lovely seeing the Residents engaging and talking about their past.”
