Residents are staying in shape with armchair Zumba at HC-One’s Cedar Court in Wigston.
Margaret Williamson, a Resident at the home, said: “That was so much fun. I never knew you could do that.”
Residents enjoyed listening to the songs and had a laugh with the staff demonstrating and joining in with them in a bid to keep fit.
Armchair Zumba is designed especially for seniors and other individuals who struggle with the intense workout of a standard Zumba class, a perfect opportunity for Residents at the home to keep fit and healthy.
Cedar Court Home Manager, Louise McQuone, said: “It was funny to see the Residents laughing at the staff attempting to exercise.”
