Rose Court receive letter from Kensington PalaceAfter writing a letter to the Royals, one Resident at HC-One’s Rose Court residential, residential memory care, nursing and nursing memory care home, in Manchester, was delighted to receive a reply!

One of the home’s Residents, Rose Norman, with the help of Senior Care Assistant, Tina Wriggle, recently wrote a letter to the Duke of Cambridge and the Duke of Sussex to say that their mother’s statue in the Kensington Palace’s Garden for her 60th birthday looked so beautiful. She said she was very fond of the Royal Family especially Diana, Princess of Wales, The Queen and Prince Philip.

Rose was overjoyed with excitement when she received a letter back from Kensington Palace to thank her for her kind words and the letter had been shown round the home to all fellow Residents and Colleagues

Rose enjoys Arts and Crafts and had made pictures of the Royal Family.

Rose said “It is an honour to get a reply from the Palace and I’m over the moon.”

Karen Davies, Care Home Manager, remarked, “This really brought great joy to Rose, as she is an avid royalist. It was also a great talking point in the home on the day for Rose with other Residents and staff.”
