HC-One’s Summerville nursing care home are delighted to welcome a new Home Manager to the team. Gillian “Gill” Thompson joined the Summerville team on 17th May 2021.
Gillian has 20 years of experience in social care and is very much looking forward to working with her incredible team at the home.
Gillian is married to Andrew and is mum to three children Isabelle, Madison and James. She also has a greyhound called Roy, who her husband affectionately describes as a substitute fourth child! Gillian enjoys cooking, walking and attending her local pub quiz, restrictions permitting.
Manager Kerry Winstanley commented, “We wish Gill all the best in her new role we are sure you will be fabulous!”
Gill remarked, “Joining the Summerville family of Residents and staff and ensuring that Residents receive quality care; that's what drives me on. This is a very exciting time for everyone at Summerville as they begin a new chapter and I can't wait to get stuck in.”
