Swallownest Residents get creative with clay modellingFive Residents at Swallownest residential and nursing care home, in Sheffield, have spent the afternoon clay modelling.

What good fun they all had at the clay modelling afternoon with the wellbeing team. Chris, who lives at Swallownest, made a turtle and a bowl. Edward just enjoyed the feel of the clay, and Betty made a canoe! (See pictured).

As well as modelling, Residents had a good laugh at some of the finished models but the most important thig was that they all had great fun! Currently Residents are waiting for the models to dry and will shortly be painting them.

Amanda Fields, Home Manager, commented, “The laughter was so nice to hear. Keeping our Residents happy and smiling is very important to us. We love to hear them laughing!”
