Tameside Rotary Club surprises local HC-One care home with a wonderful giftResidents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Hurst Hall care home in Ashton-under-Lyne recently received some lovely gifts from their friends at Tameside Rotary Club.

Colleagues at Hurst Hall had heard about other homes who had invested in animals that were mechanical and true to life and were contemplating purchasing one for Residents at Hurst Hall.

To their surprise the Tameside Rotary Club turned up on Monday 8th March with a cat that actually moves and meows.

“I can't believe it is not real, what a great idea and we don't even have to let him out,” beamed one Hurst Hall Resident.

The cat is a hit with Residents at the home and they are currently in the process of getting Residents to think of a great name.

Hurst Hall Home Manager, Debbie Finley said: “What a lovely surprise from the Rotary Club, it really means so much to our Residents to be thought about.”
