The Beeches Residents trip to the garden centreA trip to the garden centre was on the cards for HC-One’s the Beeches residential care home Residents today, on Tameside. As everyone was looking for ways to extend the summer and make the home’s grounds look even more beautiful.

Norah, who is a Resident at the home, has been helping to tend to the flower beds in the garden over the summer months. This week she has been a little upset that the slugs have been eating the flowers she has been looking after.

So, Care Home Manager Louise Clifford took Norah on a trip to the local garden centre to buy some new plants and flowers.

Norah, pictured, is now waiting for a dry day to replant the plants in the garden. She was so happy that she could go out and choose some for the garden and she even treated herself to a new gardening kit.

Louise commented, “It was nice to get out and spend time with Norah at the garden centre and I am just happy she got some new flowers to replant in the garden as it has kept her busy all summer tending to the plants!”
