This morning Residents at Waterside care home played a cheese themed beanbag throwing game followed by, yes you guessed it, cheese tasting!
The aim of the game was to throw the beanbags into the pockets on the large cheese obstacle (see pictured). Colleagues hosted a small competition, participated and helped Residents who found it difficult to throw bean bags at floor level. The overall winner was Harles.
Sticking with the theme cheese, later on in the day, Residents had a cheese tasting session along with accompaniments of wine, Guinness, spirits and lemonade.
Various cheeses were supplied by the kitchen team, along with a variety of crackers and sliced baguettes.
Residents, including Pamela Mole, Dot Poutney, Iris Delahay, Audrey Bartley and Edith Lynch enjoyed the whole day saying it was “Something a bit different.”
