Residents and team members at HC-One’s Knowles Court care home in Holmewood, Bradford have been busy bringing new life to old items with some upcycling projects.
The home received some old care tyres, a penny farthing bike, CD and DVD donations, everyone put their heads together to decide on how they could transform these once unwanted items in to features throughout the care home.
The team got to work spray painting the items and putting together the items to create a beautiful and eco-friendly garden display. Residents were delighted with the final result and commented that it has brightened up the garden.
Knowles Court Home Manager, Samantha Whinray said: “What a great idea to bring these items back to life again, the team and Residents have done a wonderful job.”
