Wakefield care home continues Secret Santa throughout JanuaryColleagues have been enjoying an extended Christmas over at HC-One’s Snapethorpe Hall in Lupset to say thank you for all the hard work they have put in over the last year.

The aptly named ‘Jolly January’ has seen Colleagues' names being put into a hat with a random daily draw to determine who will win a small present.

Residents take it in turns to draw a name each day and present a Colleague with a gift and take the opportunity to thank them for their commitment to helping the home.

Jolly January has been a conversation starter for Residents and is a great way for many to get to know a little bit more about the Colleagues at the home.

Gifts include sweets, chocolates and tins of biscuits collected throughout last month.

While it began as a bit of light entertainment for the month, Jolly January has become a fun project that Residents and Colleagues are keen to repeat next year.

Snapethorpe Hall Home Manager, Julia Davison, commented: “It’s been a great project to make January jolly for Colleagues and Residents alike.”
