Residents at HC-One’s Carr Gate care home in Wakefield have been busy preparing for the summer season with some gardening.
With the warmer months fast approaching, team members and Residents at Carr Gate have been making improvements to the garden area. New solar lighting, bird feeders and bird baths have been placed throughout the care home’s grounds and fresh plants have been added to help create a relaxing environment.
One Resident commented: “I can’t wait to see all of the birds using our new feeders and baths, they will enjoy themselves.”
Carr Gate Home Manager, Amy Brown said: “We are all ready to enjoy some lovely sunshine in the garden this summer, the new additions to the garden look great.”
Located on Lawns Lane, Carr Gate care home offers short and long term care packages for older ladies and gentlemen that require residential care, nursing care and memory care for those living with dementia.
