Residents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Ash Grange care home were delighted to celebrate Pride month, although it was slightly delayed due to bad weather.
The weather this time was gloriously sunny as Colleagues hosted a barbecue in the garden for Residents to enjoy – from burgers to hot dogs and even lamb kebabs, Residents indulged in the delicious food.
Homemade sides included chips and salad alongside a variety of soft drinks, which the Residents found extremely refreshing in the warm weather. Plenty of singing and dancing was had as music played throughout the garden.
Some Residents even opted to enjoy a tipple of in celebration. Danielle Rivers, Home Manager, commented: “It’s so lovely that everyone has pulled together for this occasion, it’s been such a wonderful day.”
