Residents and Colleagues at Birch Court care home, in Cheshire, were delighted to welcome a representative from Cheshire Fire and Rescue service who arrived with four wonderful hampers for everyone to enjoy.
The hampers contained a variety of sweets and cakes along with beautiful Poinsettias which took pride of place in the individual communities, they certainly helped with the festive feel.
One of the Residents joked, “A fireman with loads of chocolates, it must be Christmas!”
Kerry Winstanley, Home Manager, pictured with the Chief Fire Officer, commented, “After such a challenging year it is so heartening to be on the receiving end of such kindness, it will mean so much to everyone.”
