Wear your Pyjamas to work day gives Gravesend care home Residents a laughResidents at HC-One’s Wombwell Hall in Gravesend enjoyed a good laugh as Colleagues came into the home dressed in their pyjamas.

On Friday 16th April, Wombwell staff joined in on National Wear Your Pyjamas to Work Day to bring a bit of fun into the home. Residents also got involved and some wore their pyjamas for the day too, which Residents absolutely loved.

In the afternoon, Residents enjoyed choosing from a traditional tuck shop trolley with some old school sweets cakes and snacks. Some Residents had wine, Prosecco or Irish cream. While the tuck shop trolley went around the home’s communities, Residents enjoyed some music and a dance from the decades.

“This is what we needed some light hearted fun! Everything has been serious and stressful over the past and this cheered everyone up,” said one Resident.

“I’ve enjoyed today, wearing my pyjamas to work has been great, seeing everyone have fun together has been a great atmosphere,” said Wombwell Hall care home Manager, Catherine Veerigadu.

Located in a peaceful part of Northfleet, near Gravesend, Wombwell Hall is a friendly care home, offering nursing care. Terminal and palliative care are also offered by the home.
