Residents at HC-One’s
Barnby Court care home in Retford were delighted when the home admin visited in her wedding dress on her big day.
Stephanie, Barnby Home Administrator, had her wedding cancelled on 30th December last year, with just 17 hours before the big day was due to go ahead, the country was placed into Tier 4.
Finally, on 15th April 2021, Stephanie and her now husband, Gav finally tied the knot at Newark Castle in Nottinghamshire. As the Residents have taken part in all events leading up the wedding, including hen dos and other celebrations.
Stephanie came into Barnby Court on her way to the castle at 9am to show everyone her dress and wedding car. The Residents were over the moon and so pleased that the day was finally here.
“Very special day for us all here at Barnby Court as we have waited so long for this day and really special for me as Stephanie is my daughter,” said Barnby Court Home Manager, Margaret Greaves.
