Residents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Bankwood care home enjoyed a week of celebration as they celebrated the Queen’s birthday and father’s day.
For the Queen’s birthday celebrations, Residents enjoyed wearing a variety of masks of the Queen’s face before raising a glass of gin to toast the Queen – as it was also ‘gin and tonic day’.
A home made buffet was enjoyed in the afternoon alongside a delicious cake made by the home’s chef.
Later in the week, Residents enjoyed a father’s day celebration in which presents were gifted to them as well as some delicious chocolates in the shape of a father’s day message.
Residents enjoyed reminiscing of their memories with their father figures or as parents themselves.
Izzy Hamza, Home Manager, commented: “We’ve enjoyed ourselves this week, it’s been a lovely few days of celebration!”
