Westbury Colleague appreciation dayAt the Westbury residential and nursing care home, in Wiltshire, Residents joined together with the rest of the country to say a big ‘Thank You’ to all the staff, for all their hard work and dedication and keeping them safe over the last very difficult and challenging 18 months.

Residents and Colleagues sang together at 3pm with Fleetwood Mac playing ‘Don't Stop Now’ in the background.

Some Colleagues arranged a surprise buffet for the staff which they all enjoyed along with the Residents.

The Residents enjoyed a glass of Baileys, (many of which is their favourite drink!)

Afterwards everyone listened to the Beatles’ at the Residents’ request, and had a chat while the staff were dancing.

Residents liked being able to thank the staff for all they do and enjoyed having the staff there with them chatting and singing along

One of the Residents remarked “Thank you, it’s a lovely idea, and I enjoyed the buffet.”

Jacqui, Activities Coordinator, commented, “It was so lovely to see the Residents together singing along and chatting to the staff.”
