Winsford Residents express thanks at ThanksgivingResidents at Overdene House residential and nursing care home, in Cheshire, celebrated Thanksgiving on 25th November by thinking about what they are thankful for. 

Residents reminisced about spending time with their families and the laughter that they have with each other at Overdene House care home.

Sam Hulse, who lives at the home, said, “I'm thankful to be alive!”

Fellow Resident Betty Mclukie added, “I'm thankful for my family being together.”

Rebecca Jackson, Wellbeing Coordinator, commented, “Thanksgiving is a time of the year in which we can remember things that make us happy and grateful for what we have.”
