HC One’s Ferndale Mews care home in Widnes, Cheshire have some great news in that one of their Colleagues has received a rather prestigious award.
Peter McCarten. Home Manager, awarded Colleague Diane Simmons with the inaugural Ferndale Diamond Award! This is a new award which the Home Manager has introduced to recognise Colleagues who go the extra mile for the Residents.
Diane, who is a Senior Care Assistant, was really happy to receive the award, along with a unique badge with a Ferndale diamond logo, a diamond pen and a bottle of fizz of their choice.
Residents were able to chat with Diane about her new award and were really happy for her!

Peter remarked, “This is a really nice way to recognise staff who go the extra mile to help our Residents. Diane is a really well-deserved winner!”
