Spooktacular fun at Cramlington care homeOn the 28th October, at Hartford Court care home in Cramlington, Residents were thrilled to be having a spooky Halloween party.

Residents, Colleagues, and families were invited along to the party for lots of Halloween fun.

The home was decorated in spooky decorations, all handmade by the Residents who take part in the arts and crafts club. The decorations looked great, and the Residents were so pleased to see all their creations decorating the home.

Everyone was encouraged to dress up and join in with all the fun and games. Games included: splat the spider, spooky hook a duck and ghoulish skittles.

There was face painting, temporary tattoos and some of the Residents took part in karaoke. A lovely buffet with lots of food was made by the kitchen staff and Wellbeing Coordinator, Carol Birch made spooky eyeball cakes.

Wellbeing Coordinator, Danielle, commented, “This is the first big event we have hosted since the pandemic, and it was great to see the pure joy on the Residents faces.”

Kay Rudd, Care Home Manager, said, “The Residents had such a lovely time, it was great to see them smiling and having a sing along to some spooky music.”
