Cheltenham care home opens doors to community for International Tea DayHC-One’s Crofton Springs Care Home, in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, opened their doors to the local community for an afternoon of conversation, homemade treats, and traditional British hospitality in celebration of International Tea Day on Wednesday, May 21, 2025.

The event, held in the care home's large kitchen dining area, brought together residents, colleagues from various departments, and community members for a cosy tea party featuring an array of sweet treats and refreshments.

The community tea party offered guests a selection of tea, coffee, and Prosecco alongside homemade Victoria sponge, Battenberg cake, cookies, Viennese swirls, scones with jam and fresh clotted cream, and various other sweet treats.
The event was coordinated by Deputy Home Manager Shannon Eldridge, Head Chef Paul Cronk, Cook Jack Booth, and Receptionist Holly Powell.

Hayley Graham, a community guest who attended the celebration, expressed:

"The company was really lovely, home is beautiful, staff were really friendly, and the food was wonderful.
