HC-One’s Crofton Springs Care Home in Cheltenham was once again filled with laughter, excitement, and the spirit of adventure as residents welcomed back their young friends from Little Pips Nursery for another unforgettable intergenerational experience.
This time, the home was transformed into a prehistoric playground, as residents and children teamed up to search high and low for dinosaurs, both big and small, hidden throughout the home. The atmosphere was filled with joy as generations came together, sharing smiles, stories, and the thrill of discovery.
The event highlighted the unique bond between residents and the nursery children. Residents delighted in guiding the little explorers through the hunt, while the children brought boundless energy, curiosity, and excitement into every corner of the home. The activity was a beautiful reminder of the magic that happens when age is no barrier to fun and friendship.
Deputy Care Manager at HC-One’s Crofton Springs Care Home, Shannon Eldridge, said:
“It’s always a joy to see our residents light up when the children arrive. These intergenerational moments bring so much happiness, and it’s wonderful to see friendships blossom across the generations.”
Crofton Springs Care Home extends heartfelt thanks to Little Pips Nursery for helping to create such a special experience.
