Sedgley Court Care Home Invites Community to ‘Cuppa Joy Friday’ in Support of Macmillan Cancer SuppoHC-One’s Sedgley Court Care Home in Dudley, West Midlands, is delighted to be hosting ‘Cuppa Joy Friday’ on Friday 26th September from 10.30am – 12.00pm. The local community is warmly invited to join residents, families, and friends for a morning of cake, conversation, and community spirit, all in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
 
The tearoom will be dressed in green, bunting will be on display, and delicious cakes will be available to enjoy, topped with special decorations from the Macmillan fundraising packs. The home is asking for cake donations and is reaching out to the local community to come along and be part of the morning’s celebrations.
 
Guests are encouraged to bring along cakes to donate, or simply purchase some sweet treats on the day, with all proceeds going directly to Macmillan Cancer Support. The event is part of HC-One Sedgley Court’s ongoing commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for residents to connect with their local community while supporting important causes.
 
As summer comes to a close, Sedgley Court has enjoyed a busy season filled with activities, and the home is now preparing for the colder months ahead. From Harvest Festival celebrations to cosy seasonal events, residents and team members are looking forward to embracing the comforts of autumn together.
