49th wedding anniversary celebration at Bolton care home

Jean and John Macleary, Residents at HC One’s Four Seasons care home, celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary today. 

It was a lovely day at the Bolton care home, where the staff got to witness the love being celebrated between Jean and John Macleary on their 49th wedding anniversary. 

A wedding anniversary is always a blessing and celebrated by family and friends. However due to this year being so different this was sadly not an option, however Jean and John still had a wonderful day together.
 
John surprised his wife Jean with a lovely bouquet of flowers accompanied with cards from family and friends.

It was a very emotional day but so wonderful to see a loving couple going strong and enjoying their special day together.
 
John and Jean said “The flowers and kind words from our family were lovely, but we are determined to have a big party for our 50th!”

The home manager commented “During the pandemic so many people are affected but to see Jean and John so happy was lovely!”
