February has been a busy month for the wellbeing team and Residents at HC-One’s Perry Lock’s care home, in Birmingham.
Chinese New Year, Pancake Day and Valentine’s Day have all been celebrated to this month.
To make Residents feel loved this Valentine’s day, the team concentrated on decorating the lounge and tables with hearts (pictured).
Residents participated in completing valentine word searches and creating cards to send to their families.
An afternoon tea was also served along with themed goodies supplied by the local Asda store.
Residents enjoyed sending cards home to their loved ones, it was really appreciated
One Resident said, “That afternoon tea was delicious.”
Home Manager, Rebecca Bristow, remarked, “Colleagues have been working really hard to keep Residents occupied and I appreciate everything everyone is doing during this difficult time to keep the Residents safe.”
