A choir of carols at Fullarton care homeResidents at HC-One’s Fullarton, nursing and nursing dementia care home, in Irvine, have recently had an excellent performance from the Salvation Army band.

On the 8th of December the Residents had a lovely afternoon, as the Salvation Army band led a local service at the front of the home.

Residents were delighted to see the early years classes from the local primary school had joined in with the fun and led the song ‘Jingles Bells’ whilst doing a festive dance.

Residents sang most of the carols. The weather was great, and it wasn’t too cold, but the Residents got wrapped up lovely and warm whilst enjoying either a ginger wine or a hot chocolate served with shortbread and mince pies.

Comments from the day included, “Well now it is officially Christmas!” and “We as a band really enjoyed playing for all of the Residents.”

Care Home Manager, Charlotte Beaumont, added, “Well done for those who organised the afternoon. There were so many happy faces.”
