Residents at
Roseberry Court, residential and residential dementia care home, in Redcar, were very excited for a special afternoon.
An outside organisation called North-East Productions came to Roseberry Court and performed their own play called ‘One Fine Day’.
The play included songs that the Residents know and loved, so they were able to sing along with many laughs.
Hot drinks and sweet treats were served during the performance, and they have been booked to come back to perform Alice in Wonderland at Christmas time.
Isabella, one of the Residents, said, “I haven’t laughed like that in a long time.”
Kelly Levick, Care Home Manager, remarked, “It was great to see the Residents enjoying themselves.”
