One Colleague, at
Roseberry Court, residential and residential dementia care home in Redcar, has been getting crafty.
Laundry Assistant, Libby, has spent the last couple of weeks hand making a highland cow for Isabella, one of the Resident living in the 63-bedded care home.
Both Libby and Isabella are Scottish and share an interest with anything and everything Scottish.
When Libby handed over the cow to Isabella there were many tears of joy. The moment was very emotional, and everyone was filled with tears of joy.
Isabella was so happy with her new friend, she said, “I love him so much.”
All the Colleagues love Isabella’s new friend and want one of their own. Libby is going to be busy!
Kelly Levick, Care Home Manager, added, “Isabella was overjoyed, and it was such a beautiful act of kindness from Libby.”
