Residents have started 2021 off with a bang after a busy month at HC-One’s Capwell Grange care home in Luton.
So far Residents have taken part in arts and crafts sessions, pamper days and sweet treat days.
Residents have been spoiled with luxury hot chocolates, a variety of teas and rich coffee. And, of course, what else goes better with a hot drink than cake?
One Resident commented: “I love the hot chocolate with whipped cream. Delicious.”
Both the ladies and gentlemen at Capwell Grange have enjoyed relaxing spa treatments – from hand massages to fabulous painted nails.
After a difficult year in lockdown, it was a treat to Residents and Colleagues to take part in the peaceful pamper sessions.
A Resident who took part said: “I love my nails! They are so pretty.”
And the fun doesn’t stop there as Colleagues at the home are already making preparations for a Valentine’s Day party and pancake day next month.
Capwell Grange Home Manager, Nicola Berry, commented: “It’s great to see the team interacting with Residents in these lonely days when we’re all on lockdown.”
