The ladies at
Adelaide House care home in Walton-on-Thames, which offers residential and nursing care, recently enjoyed a competitive and fun game of bingo.
One Colleague mentioned: “It is great to see Residents spending time together, and they usually plan their next activity whilst they are all together.”
The Residents who participated in the bingo session, including Jackie, said that they ‘love spending time with the other Residents’ and ‘having someone to talk to about what is going on is lovely’.
As bingo isn’t for everyone at Adelaide House care home, the Activity Coordinator ensures there is something for everyone at different times, including the opportunity to get more creative in an arts and crafts session.
Kate, the Home Manager said: “Our ladies love their bingo, and they especially love playing against each other. It brings old memories back and we really see them having a brilliant time.”
