Residents at Priory Gardens, residential, nursing and residential dementia care home in Pontefract, took a lovely trip along to the coast.
Anita Smith, Ada Falkinder and Nellie Bullock are all Residents at the care home and were thrilled for a day trip out to the local seaside
The minibus took the ladies down to Bridlington to take a look around and see the sights.
The weather was lovely and sunny, which was perfect for a day at the coast. The ladies tucked into some delicious fish and chips and washed them down with a lovely cup of Yorkshire Tea- the best cup of tea by far!
After their lunch, the ladies had an ice cream whilst watching the world go by! It was so peaceful and relaxing.
Residents enjoyed the sights and sound of the busy town and brought back some candy rock for the other Residents back at the care home.
They ladies had a lovely day out, they remarked, “Thanks for bringing us, its been a wonderful day.”
Allison Gill, Care Home Manager, commented, “Our Residents enjoyed a lovely day out at the seaside reminiscing about visiting when they were younger and with their children.”
