This week at
The Gables in Peterborough, which offers nursing and nursing dementia care, Wellbeing Coordinator Jane and Resident Andrew spent an afternoon out exploring the countryside in the lovely autumn sunshine.
The aim of the walk was to explore some of the local area, taking in the sites, people and any animals that they may have come across.
Andrew really enjoyed spending time outside in the fresh air and great weather, and referred to the day as ‘glorious.’
Andrew and Jane spent time admiring the changing colours of the leaves and basking in the autumn sun all whilst getting some much needed exercise.
Jane said: “It was so lovely to spend some time outside and having a good chat. We bumped into some horses, dog walkers and just spent time enjoying our local area. I love autumn, so it was a great activity for Andrew and I to do together.”
Andrew said that he ‘really enjoyed spending time outside taking in the sites’ and that ‘it is so important to make the most of the good weather.’
