Abroath care home Residents visit local wildlife centreA group of Residents from HC-One’s Lunan Court care home in Abroath enjoyed a visited to Camperdown Wildlife Centre in Dundee.

For one of their first COVID-19 days out, Residents visited Camperdown Wildlife Centre where they admired a variety of different animals from lemurs to brown bears. Everyone enjoyed reading the information boards for each different animal, the highlight was seeing all of the babies that had recently been born as well as lots of pregnant animals who are close to giving birth.

A great time was had by all, Residents commented on how much they enjoyed getting out again and being able to see lots of different wildlife. One Resident commented: “What a lovely day, I love animals so it was the perfect trip out for me.”

Lunan Court Home Manager, Ursula Schneider said: “I am pleased that our Residents are able to get out and about again, whilst following COVID-19 guidance. Everyone seemed to have a wonderful time.”
