Art therapy for Harefield ResidentsAt the Harefield care home, in Middlesex, Colleagues always want to encourage Residents to pursue their hobbies. One of the ways they do this, is through weekly art therapy sessions.

Within these workshops, Residents complete a variety of activities ranging from painting simple paper designs to painting patterns on rocks.  Resident Pauline Frost, who is more commonly known around the home as Daphne, pictured, is one of the most avid painters and she never hesitates to become involved within our artistic ventures.

Wellbeing coordinator James Linton thought that Daphne was a very talented artist and she enjoyed the different activities that were on offer.  She thoroughly enjoyed the variety that was available and her huge smile spoke for itself!

Home Manager Mary Nadeem declared this was, “A wonderful way of encouraging Daphne's artistic ability.”
