Balfarg, residential and nursing care home, in Fife, a Resident has been enjoying crafty activities over the Christmas period.
Mr’s Bridget Coe, a Residents has recently told the staff she enjoyed painting in her younger days. Mhari, Wellbeing Coordinator had a one-to-one painting morning set up for Bridget.
Bridget painted a lovely winter scene and nurse Stephanie took a photo to send to Bridget’s daughter.
Her daughter was really surprised as she wasn’t aware her mum still knew how to paint, the picture she received was the best present she could have asked for.
Bridget, said, “I am really happy when I am painting.”
Kyle Keith, Deputy Manager, commented, “Bridget really surprised us all with her talent.”
