Autumn arts and crafts at Nottinghamshire care homeToday at Acacia in Sherwood, which offers residential, nursing and memory care, Residents enjoyed a day of arts and crafts with an Autumn feel.

Residents took part in a day of arts and crafts, where they loved changing the colours of summer to more autumn feeling designs. There was drawing, painting and colouring in pictures of autumn environments and pumpkins. Residents said they were looking forward to be doing more crafts for the harvest festival and Halloween. Residents really liked all of the warm colours that come with autumn and it was reflected in their art work.

One Resident said “I can’t wait to make my Halloween pumpkin!”

The Home Manager, Georgina, commented that “It was really nice seeing all the Autumn colours coming out around the home, the Residents are very artistic”.
