For the Coronation of King Charles, a party was held at HC-One’s
Avon Court care home, in Chippenham, as the home was decorated in red, white and blue for an occasion to remember.
On 4th May, the home opened their doors and visitors included a local singer named Bob, who thoroughly entertained Residents with his live music. The home also welcomed Chippenham Mayor, Liz Alstrom. She commented that she had a lovely afternoon, and very much enjoys coming to Avon Court.
Residents at the residential and nursing care home had a wonderful time, particularly enjoying singing along to all the old pub songs. They finished the afternoon with a delicious buffet which was served by the kitchen team.
John Williams, who lives at Avon Court, remarked, “It was a wonderful party!”
Mitchelo Kalengo, Home Manager, commented, “It was well organised in a way that Residents who usually don’t enjoy getting out enjoyed every single moment.”
