Residents at HC-One’s Claremont care home in Ayr, recently competed to see who could create the most beautifully decorated biscuit.
The competition was organised by NAPA and the task was to decorate the nation’s best biscuit by choosing a theme or a memory of something that means something to Residents.
When Resident Tricia Darroch was asked what was important to her, without a moment’s hesitation, she said her family and choose to design her biscuit by drawing her family in red icing and putting a circle around it.
Other Residents choose to design their biscuits with themes of love, happiness and health. There were also a few who preferred to not decorate their biscuits as they giggled saying eating was important to them.
Everyone had fantastic time and all of the Residents entries are in so fingers crossed Claremont can have a winner in the competition.
Claremont activities coordinator, Liz said: “I enjoyed hearing Residents stories about their memories as they designed their biscuits.”
