Residents at
Balcarres, residential and residential dementia care home, in Dundee love a special day to celebrate with one another.
The Resident had a very busy day celebrating for St Patricks Day.
There were various games, quizzes, wordsearches and crosswords. After lunch there was a special party and a dance.
The treats on offer were an Irish cream, Guinness, and other refreshments. There were lots of green and yellow snacks too which included peppermint creams, aero mint, mint club biscuits, green apple fizzes, chocolate bananas and lemon drizzle cake.
Mary, an Irish Resident, at Balcarres, remarked, “I miss Ireland, and this is so lovely!”
A special visit form a Leprechaun made the Residents chuckle.
Lynn McLean, Care Home Manager, commented, “The Residents certainly love a good party and a dance!”
