Residents at HC-One’s Grosvenor Park care home enjoyed celebrating British Flower Week this week as they took part in a variety of exciting activities with Colleagues, such as quizzes and games.
In particular, a favourite activity was flower arranging, which Residents particularly enjoyed as they had a choice of many diferent flower variations, as well as some lovely clippings from the home’s grden.
Residents would first choose their vase or pot before choosing the flowers they wanted to plant, playing around with certain colour schemes that stood out to them.
Later, the flowers were displayed proudly in the Residents’ rooms, so they are able to admire their handiwork every day.
One Resident remarked: “It was so nice to choose our flowers to arrange, I love getting creative so I chose as many colours as I could.”
Grosvenor Park is a friendly care home, offering nursing and residential care, and has a fabulous seafront location in Bexhill on Sea.
