Today at
Silverwood in Nottingham, which offers residential, nursing and dementia care, Residents enjoyed a couple rounds of bingo.
The wellbeing team at Silverwood excel in providing meaningful activities for the Residents to enjoy, with one activity this week being bingo. Karen, a Wellbeing Coordinator is a huge fan of bingo, with a proud message declaring her love for it on her name badge. Residents were also offered tea and cake along with their rounds of bingo, which was well received by everybody.
Pat and Norah, two friends who are Residents at Silverwood also very much enjoy bingo, with one saying, “I was over the moon when they told me it was bingo day today, I haven’t played in so long”.
The success of bingo day at Silverwood has prompted everybody wanting to visit their local “Mecca Bingo” for a day out and some more bingo fun. Karen said she will look to organise it for those who want to attend later on next month.
Debra, the Home Manager said “It’s really great seeing our Residents enjoying themselves, the staff did a great job with bingo day”.
