Residents have been enjoying a host of activities to keep their spirits up during lockdown at HC-One’s Perry Locks care home in Perry Barr, West Midlands.
Wellbeing Colleagues at the home have been spending one-to-one time with each Resident to make sure they are staying positive and to address any concerns during these difficult times.
Unfortunately, the Residents’ Relatives are unable to visit them due to lockdown restrictions. But Colleagues are working hard to keep up spirits by organising socially distanced group sessions where Residents can chat to one another and have a bit of fun.
One Resident commented: “We have so much to be grateful for. The staff work really hard to make everything fun.”
Residents have been enjoying plenty of fun-filled games and activities, including quizzes, bingo, craft sessions and days of pampering to keep everyone looking and feeling their best.
Perry Locks Home Manager, Rebecca Bristow, said: “I appreciate everything that staff are doing during this difficult time to keep the Residents safe and happy.”
