On 18th January at HC-One’s
Sandon House care home, in Mossley, Tameside, everyone got together to enjoy some live music and celebrate one of the Residents’ birthdays.
Colleagues and Residents welcomed back their much-loved entertainer, Ian Jenkins (pictured), after three years. Ian came in and sang well-known songs from Connie Francis, Cliff Richard and many more, which were very much appreciated by the Residents, who clapped their hands, sang along and even had a good dance with Ian.
The day was also made extra special as Jean, who lives at the 42-bed residential and residential dementia care home, was celebrating her birthday too!
Everyone was in good spirits and danced the afternoon away. Then everyone raised a glass to wish Jean a very happy birthday!
Jean commented, “I've had a lovely day, thank you!”
