Black History Month at Dartford care homeColleagues and Residents at Woodford House care home, in Kent, have been sharing their views and celebrating black history month today.

The wellbeing team decided to speak to the Residents about their views and also did some black history word searches for the Residents.

Resident Joanna had a lovely thought on what society should be like, “We are an equal society and there are advantages for everyone. People should be judged on their abilities and skills and not on their appearance.”

Residents loved the discussions as it was close to some of them. One Resident said, “I love Bob Marley. I like meaningful music.”

Rebecca Collins, Home Manager, said, “It's wonderful to hear all the lovely comments made by our Residents. it makes me proud to be a manager.”
