Today the Residents at
Meadow Bank House care home, in Great Lever, which offers residential and nursing care, took part in a bit of friendly competition at dominoes.
Residents, including Maureen, Betty C, Betty B, Shelia and John, love to play dominoes, especially in the garden when the weather is nice and they can enjoy the sunshine.
The group commented on the weather and engaged in conversation with the visitors, “This is nice, to sit outside,” and “It is lovely to sit in the sun, it makes you feel better.”
Wellbeing Coordinator, Tanja, commented, “Playing dominoes together fosters friendship between the Residents.”
“After five games of dominoes the group went inside as the sun was very warm. The group continued to play in the dining room for a while.”
