The Gardens care home in Boston, Lincolnshire, are celebrating success after Residents and Relatives voted them as one of the Top 20 recommended care homes in the East Midlands in the carehome.co.uk awards 2022.
Carehome.co.uk, the UK's leading care home directory and comparison website, holds its annual Care Home Awards to recognise the 20 top-rated care homes in each region of the UK. These are based on individual review scores that carehome.co.uk have received from Residents, and their friends, family and loved ones, demonstrating real life opinions and first-hand experiences from those most closely connected to the home.
The Gardens received an overall rating of 9.9/10 based on independent reviews, in recognition of the high standards of care provided at the home – which provides residential and residential dementia care services for the local community. The 42-bed home received a CQC rating ‘Good’ report in March 2020 in all categories, demonstrating that the home is safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led.
The Gardens Care Home, which is set within the wider setting of Park Place, a private, age-exclusive, independent village, is one of 221 HC-One care homes across the UK that will benefit from a £54.5m investment refurbishment programme, and forms part of HC-One’s mission to be the UK’s first choice care provider in the communities it serves.
HC-One is committed to providing the highest standards of care in every community they serve, which is demonstrated by their 9.5/10 average rating on the carehome.co.uk website – which is among the highest review scores across the care home sector.
Review from Tracey R (Respite Resident) published on 11 July 2022, Carehome.co.uk, stated:
“The care provided is excellent, the staff are always happy to help and talk to family, if required and happy to answer any questions. They keep family updated on their family member. Residents' needs are well cared for and met, always using their names when talking to them. Cleanliness is also excellent and the food always smells appetising.”
