Brass band visits Broadway care home to play for ResidentsBrompton House, in Broadway, Worcestershire, was very happy to welcome a brass band again as they played beautiful music, including Christmas carols, for Residents and Colleagues at the care home.

The band played favourite Christmas Carols and asked Residents at the 37-bed residential and nursing care home, if they had any requests. Two Residents, John and Richard, who were part of a brass band in the past, got a little bit emotional, listening to the fantastic pieces of music.

All Residents loved the show very much and they sang while the band was playing.

After the concert, everybody enjoyed a hot drink and a snack, and Residents had a chance to have a chat with band members, two of whom are very familiar to Brompton House. Lina and Mathew, who play in the band, are wife and son of one of the home’s Residents, John, who also used to play in the band.

Residents said that they can’t wait for the band to visit again!

Karina Kotkowska, Covid Coordinator, remarked, “We can't wait for another concert. It was lovely to welcome the brass band to Brompton House and see joy on Residents' faces.”
