Colleagues and Residents at
Clarendon Hall care home, in Grimsby, wanted to recognise Breast Cancer awareness day as it has touched many hearts personally, so on 21st October, everyone got together to fundraise for the amazing cause.
The Residents had fun making decorations and some badges that were then sold, everyone wore them on the day.
The home’s kitchen team and some volunteers made some delicious cakes for a sale too.
Then the karaoke came out, with thanks to Wellbeing Coordinator Hayley Sandison!
Everyone particularly enjoyed the singing and dancing. Shirley Stafford, who lives at the 49-bed residential and nursing care home said that she really enjoyed herself, “Thank you, it was brilliant!”
The home raised a total of £200.
Nicola Walker, Home Manager, commented, “It was a great day and to make that much money for a charity close to hearts means even more.”
